Our machines
Here at Scratch Busters we have a refurb suite comprising of a vast range of state of the art disk recovery machines from single loaders ranging up to computerised bulk loading units supported by electronic disk checking and verification equipment.

As soon as your disk arrives at Scratch Busters it is immediately barcoded and logged onto our system along with your details so that we can immediately track your disk at any one point to see what stage it currently is in the recovery process.

From here your disk is inspected to make sure it is not warped, cracked or split which would mean recovery of the data would be impossible and therefore we would have to return the disk to you. Once the severity of scratches to your disk has been analysed it is loaded into the appropriate disk recovery machine where 5 to 10 microns is skimmed from the disk surface. This is followed by a cleaning and polishing stage then thorough testing on our verification equipment to confirm the digital integrity of your disk has been restored to 'as new' condition.

Your disk is then packaged and posted back to you via first class post. We aim to turn all disks round within 48 hours of receipt so usually your disk is back with you within 3 working days.
